Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2025 – Xiaomi India has announced the appointment of Sandeep Singh Arora as its Chief Business Officer, effective January 2025. In this pivotal role, Arora will spearhead business development initiatives, drive revenue growth, forge strategic partnerships, and expand Xiaomi’s market footprint. With an illustrious career spanning nearly three decades, Arora brings a wealth of experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, and marketing leadership.
Before joining Xiaomi India, Sandeep Singh Arora held key leadership roles at Samsung Electronics for over a decade. As Online Business Unit Head – Consumer Electronics, he drove revenue and market share growth in India. He also led the Mobile Division’s online business, overseeing product marketing, brand strategy, and P&L management.
Arora’s earlier tenure includes roles such as VP Marketing at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India Group) and Category Director & EVP Marketing at PepsiCo India, where he demonstrated remarkable expertise in brand building and market strategy. At Unilever, his contributions spanned over 12 years, with global assignments in brand and category management across Asia and Europe.
Sandeep Singh Arora holds a PGDM in Business Management and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
