Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 — Sandiip Bharadwaj has taken over as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Paytm Money, a leading digital investment platform under the Paytm ecosystem. In his new role, he will lead the strategic direction and operations of the company, furthering its mission to simplify wealth creation and make financial services accessible to every Indian.
Prior to this appointment, Sandiip was the Chief Operating & Digital Officer at HDFC Securities, where he also pioneered HDFC SKY, a next-gen fintech platform focused on transforming retail investing. In this role, he led multiple verticals including product, marketing, digital businesses, and customer experience, driving innovations in investment solutions and platform development.
Earlier, he served as Chief Executive Officer – Retail Broking at IIFL Securities, where he was instrumental in scaling the retail investment business. He also had a decade-long tenure at Angel Broking (now Angel One), where he held key leadership positions including Director & Chief Sales Officer and Business Head – Capital Markets & Wealth Management.
Sandiip’s previous career includes leadership roles at Religare, HDFC Bank, Centurion Bank of Punjab, Standard Chartered Bank, and ICICI Bank, accumulating over two decades of experience across retail broking, wealth management, and digital financial services.
