New Delhi, Delhi, India – November 2025 — Sangita Ghalay has joined Siemens Energy India Limited (SEIL) as the Head of Communications, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished communication and corporate brand leadership journey spanning nearly three decades.
Stepping into this role at a defining moment for the energy sector, Sangita shared, “India’s power sector is currently undergoing a transformative phase characterised by rapid growth, innovation, and clean energy transition. As a pure-play energy company, SEIL is well positioned to capitalise on the immense growth opportunities that the country offers. I couldn’t have joined at a more opportune time!”
Prior to joining Siemens Energy, Sangita served at Vedanta Group, where she held multiple senior communication leadership roles over nearly three years, including Chief Brand & Communications Officer – Aluminium Business, and Chief Communications Officer – India & APAC for Semiconductor & Display Business. At Vedanta, she led strategic positioning, reputation management, and corporate brand architecture across large-scale technology, energy, and manufacturing business units.
Before Vedanta, Sangita spent more than 10 transformative years at Honeywell, where she held leadership roles including Country Leader – PR & Media Relations, Interim Head of Corporate Communications India, and Head – Honeywell Hometown Solutions India Foundation. During her tenure, she shaped Honeywell’s brand reputation, led CSR strategy touching over 2 million lives, strengthened media alliances, and contributed meaningfully to crisis communications and business continuity initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she gained extensive domain expertise in corporate communication, advocacy and brand development through impactful roles at Avantha Group, The Tobacco Institute of India, Encyclopaedia Britannica India, and Highlanders Communications — where she contributed to storytelling, publishing, corporate voice development and strategic communication execution.
