Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Mr. Sanjay Kumar Pandey has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Greta Energy Ltd., a key subsidiary of the Greta Group. In this new leadership role, Mr. Pandey will be responsible for spearheading the Human Resources function, with a strong emphasis on cultivating a people-first culture, strengthening organizational capabilities, and aligning HR strategy with Greta Energy’s long-term vision of sustainable and green steelmaking.
In addition to his role at Greta Energy, Mr. Pandey will also lead the HR and Administration functions of Shriram Food Industry, ensuring synergies across the Group’s diversified businesses through strategic people practices, robust engagement frameworks, and operational HR excellence.
With over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Personnel Administration, and Industrial Relations, Mr. Pandey has held several HR leadership positions across renowned companies in the steel, power, and manufacturing sectors. He is widely respected in the industry for his deep expertise in performance management, capability development, and employee engagement, as well as his proven track record in managing complex industrial relations environments.
A certified Performance Management System Expert and Six Sigma Green Belt, Mr. Pandey has successfully driven HR transformation initiatives that have elevated employee morale, enhanced business alignment, and fostered a high-performance culture. His ability to balance strategic vision with operational discipline will be critical to Greta Energy’s mission of building a future-ready, agile, and engaged workforce.
