Prior to his consultancy work, Satadru served as the Head of Talent Acquisition & HRBP Corporate at Huhtamaki for a year. In this role, he streamlined the talent acquisition process and ensured strategic hiring across verticals, supporting the business’s aspirations. He also drove HRBP initiatives to enhance employee engagement and talent development through various key initiatives.

Satadru spent over eight years at the Aditya Birla Group, where he held multiple significant roles. As the Head of Talent Management, Learning & Development, OE at Essel Mining and Industries Limited, he led initiatives that resulted in higher employee engagement and talent development. Before this, as the General Manager – Group Human Resources (Talent Staffing & Employer Brand) at ABMCPL, he was responsible for creating an employer brand using social and digital media, designing talent staffing digital architecture, and partnering with leading HRIS solutions providers. He also worked on confidential executive searches for the Chairman’s Office and key business stakeholders.

Earlier in his career, Satadru was the AVP & Zonal Manager – HR (East) at Aditya Birla Sunlife Insurance Co. Ltd, where he handled end-to-end HR responsibilities for a zone comprising West Bengal, North East, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha, managing HR for 136 branches and approximately 2000 employees.

Satadru’s extensive career in HR began with roles at Magma HDI General Insurance Company Limited as the Head Business Partner – HR, Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited as the Zonal Manager – Human Capital (East), and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd as a Corporate Human Resources professional.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
