San Diego, California, United States, December 2025 — Sony Electronics has appointed Sean Campbell as Director of People & Culture, marking a significant leadership addition to its people and culture function. In this role, Campbell is responsible for shaping people strategy, strengthening organizational culture, and supporting talent initiatives aligned with Sony’s purpose of innovation through creativity and technology.
In his most recent role, Sean Campbell served as Senior Director, Human Resources at Neighborhood Healthcare, where he led all HR functions for a large, multi-site healthcare organization. He partnered closely with the C-suite to scale HR infrastructure, led complex workforce integrations following acquisitions, strengthened compliance and credentialing frameworks, and transformed HR into a proactive, data-driven function supporting over 1,600 employees.
Prior to this, Campbell held multiple leadership roles at Neighborhood Healthcare, including Human Resources Director, Director of Talent & HR Operations, and Director of Talent. During this period, he built the organization’s first formal talent acquisition function, implemented enterprise HR systems, introduced structured compensation and workforce planning processes, and mentored emerging HR leaders while supporting rapid organizational growth.
Earlier, Campbell spent over seven years at WAXIE Sanitary Supply (now part of BradyPLUS), where he progressed through roles including Director of HR & Employee Development and Human Resources Manager. His work included leading HR M&A integrations, developing total rewards strategies, launching internal learning platforms, strengthening employer branding, and overseeing HR operations for a multi-state workforce.
His foundational HR experience includes roles at Northrop Grumman, where he supported large engineering populations as an HR Business Partner, and with the United States Department of Defense and U.S. Marine Corps, where he managed HR operations, workforce planning, compliance, and leadership development in highly structured, mission-critical environments.
Education
Sean Campbell holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources & Change Management from National University, with an emphasis on organizational development and change management. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from California State University San Marcos.
