Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Serentica Renewables has announced the appointment of Seema Amithkumar as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources, marking an important addition to its leadership team as the company continues to accelerate India’s clean energy transition. Based in Mumbai, Seema will play a strategic role in aligning people strategy with business objectives, driving talent development, and shaping the organization’s culture to support Serentica’s rapid growth and innovation in industrial decarbonization.
In her new role, Seema will partner closely with the leadership team to design and execute HR strategies focused on performance management, succession planning, and leadership development, while strengthening Serentica’s employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. As a strategic HR business partner, she will lead initiatives that foster a high-performance culture, champion inclusion, and translate business goals into actionable HR outcomes.
Prior to joining Serentica, Seema had an extensive career spanning over 18 years across energy, technology, and consulting organizations. Most recently, she served as Head of Business Process & Risk Management at Statkraft, where she led enterprise risk governance, operational excellence, and sustainability integration across multi-country operations. Earlier, as Head of HR – Operations and HRBP Projects at Statkraft India, she was instrumental in setting up HR functions across solar, hydro, and wind projects, leading M&A integrations, and implementing compensation benchmarking with Korn Ferry and Mercer.
Before Statkraft, Seema held HR leadership roles at Mavenir, where she led HR operations for the APAC region and multiple M&A integrations, and at HealthFore Technologies, where she managed the full talent lifecycle and introduced HR analytics for data-driven decision-making. She began her career at Turning Point Consulting, focusing on talent acquisition and campus recruitment.
Seema holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, and a Postgraduate Degree from Symbiosis University, underscoring her strong academic foundation in strategic HR management and leadership development.
