Jakarta, Indonesia, March 2026 — Setiaji Setiaji has started a new position as Director of Information Technology at BPJS Kesehatan. Based in Indonesia, he steps into the role with extensive public-sector leadership experience across health technology, digital transformation, and smart city initiatives.
Prior to joining BPJS Kesehatan, Setiaji Setiaji served with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia as Assistant of Minister for Health Technology. He also held the role of Chief of Digital Transformation Office, contributing to digital transformation priorities within the ministry.
Earlier, he worked with Telkom University as an Adjunct Lecturer, based in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, contributing to university teaching responsibilities alongside his public-sector leadership roles.
Before that, Setiaji Setiaji served as Head of ICT – Digital Services at West Java Province, and earlier led the Jakarta Smart City initiative as Head of Jakarta Smart City with the Jakarta Provincial Government in Central Jakarta.
He also held an earlier role as Head of Information Development Planning Center at the Jakarta Regional Planning Board, contributing to planning and information development responsibilities.
