Gurugram, Haryana, India, October 2025 — PepsiCo has appointed Shailja Joshi as Senior Director – Marketing, Global Canisters & Imports, where she will spearhead global marketing for canister-based brands such as Lay’s Stax and Lay’s Minis, while driving innovation and import strategies under PepsiCo’s New Revenue Streams initiative. In this global role, she will focus on expanding PepsiCo’s snack portfolio through consumer-centric innovation, brand storytelling, and global market integration.
Shailja brings over 18 years of FMCG leadership experience across marketing, innovation, and brand strategy. Within PepsiCo, she has led impactful initiatives as Director – Marketing for CSDs (Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda) and Innovation, strengthening the company’s beverage portfolio in India and leading major product innovations. Earlier, as Director – Marketing for the Potato Chips category, she played a pivotal role in expanding market share and driving the growth of flagship brands.
Prior to PepsiCo, Shailja worked at Britannia Industries Limited, where she led brands such as NutriChoice and Marie Gold, building strong consumer connect and driving innovation-led brand rejuvenation. She also had a successful stint at Dabur India Limited, where she managed the Real brand and drove product relaunches, packaging transformations, and ambassador-led campaigns that enhanced category leadership.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), where she earned her MBA in Marketing, Shailja’s strategic acumen, creative vision, and consumer insight are expected to drive PepsiCo’s innovation momentum across global markets.
