San Francisco, California, April 2025 — Shannon Duncan has been appointed as Chief of Staff, Marketing at DoorDash, marking a key leadership step in her nine-year tenure with the organization. In this new role, Shannon will partner closely with DoorDash’s marketing leadership to drive cross-functional alignment, enhance operational efficiency, and scale strategic initiatives across one of the most dynamic marketing teams in the tech-logistics space.
Since joining DoorDash in 2021, Shannon has played a transformative role as Senior Manager, Creative Operations, where she was instrumental in building and leading the Creative Operations function within Superette, the company’s internal creative studio. She implemented foundational systems for project intake, resource planning, and budget management while mentoring a high-performing team of project managers. Her efforts optimized the creative workflow and significantly enhanced the operational backbone supporting DoorDash’s brand initiatives.
Prior to DoorDash, Shannon spent six years at 215 McCann, where she rose to VP, Creative Services & Operations Director. There, she worked across major brand accounts including Xbox, LinkedIn, and Hulu, driving resource optimization and process transformation across McCann North America during a critical time of remote operations and pandemic-era constraints.
Shannon’s extensive agency-side experience also includes roles at Venables Bell and Partners, DDB Remedy, and the International AIDS Society-USA, where she developed a reputation for orchestrating seamless cross-functional collaboration, scaling creative operations, and championing culture-building initiatives.
