Dedham, Massachusetts, United States, October 2025 – Sharon Chevalier has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Riverside Community Care. In this leadership role, she will oversee human resources strategy, talent development, and organizational culture, ensuring the nonprofit continues to support its mission of serving communities across Massachusetts with high-quality mental health, developmental, and social services.
Sharon has been with Riverside Community Care since June 2024, where she previously served as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, she focused on aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, enhancing workforce engagement, and driving talent initiatives to support Riverside’s broad spectrum of services.
Before joining Riverside, she worked at New England Village, Inc. as Vice President of Human Resources for more than three years. There, she strengthened HR systems and practices to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring both compliance and a culture of inclusion.
Earlier, Sharon held the role of Human Resources Director and later Human Resources Manager at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Milton, where she managed recruitment, benefits administration, performance improvement, and employee relations, while also facilitating staff orientation and training programs.
Her career also includes a notable tenure of over 19 years at Boston Mutual Life Insurance, where she advanced to Second Vice President, Workplace Solutions Sales Support and Concierge Services. In this role, she provided strategic leadership to multiple business functions, integrated cross-functional teams, and transformed workplace culture to improve morale and business outcomes.
Sharon began her career as an HR Consultant, advising organizations on policies, processes, and practices for nearly a decade, developing expertise that has supported her long-term success in HR leadership.
