Istanbul, Türkiye, February 2026 — ISG – Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (ISG) has appointed Sibel Fidancan as Chief Human Resources. In her new role, Sibel will lead the airport’s people agenda, strengthening workforce strategy, talent programs, rewards, HR analytics, and organizational effectiveness to support ISG’s fast-growing operations and service excellence priorities.
With a background spanning HR analytics, compensation & benefits, talent planning, and HR process development, Sibel brings a data-driven HR leadership approach shaped across aviation, banking, higher education, consulting, and large enterprise environments.
In her new position at ISG – Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, Sibel Fidancan will lead the HR function for one of Türkiye’s busiest and fastest-scaling aviation hubs, focusing on building capability, strengthening people processes, and enabling high-performance operations across a complex, high-volume airport ecosystem.
Before joining ISG, Sibel worked as Human Resources Executive at Alternatif Bank, where she strengthened her experience in HR operations and corporate people processes in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Prior to that, she served as Human Resources Executive at Anadolu Group in Istanbul, Türkiye, contributing to HR execution and people programs within a large, diversified corporate group.
Earlier, she spent nearly three years at Koç University, progressing from Academic Human Resources Specialist to Senior Academic Human Resources Specialist. During this phase, she supported performance reporting and HR service delivery improvements, led talent planning discussions, advised managers on compensation decisions using benchmark and job analysis data, supported document coordination during acquisitions, helped build succession and promotion pathways, and contributed to training program design and rollout.
Sibel also built deep expertise in rewards and compliance as a Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist at Deloitte in Istanbul, where she supported compensation and benefits proposal budgeting, salary range structure design, survey analysis, and local wage and employment law compliance, strengthening both analytical rigor and client-facing rewards advisory capability.
Earlier in her career, she worked as an HR Analytics and Reporting Specialist at Koçtaş in Istanbul, where she conducted compensation and market analysis, supported salary structure and benefits comparisons, built executive-level reporting and dashboards, forecast HR budgets, supported attrition and diversity analytics initiatives, and helped integrate HR data with financial dashboards to strengthen strategic decision-making.
She began her professional journey with Tata Consultancy Services as a Resource Management Group Associate in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India, supporting resource allocation and deployment processes, staffing fulfillment against SLAs, pipeline planning for future demand, learning support, and consistent reporting.
