Singapore, January 2026 – Sonali Roychowdhury has stepped into a pivotal regional leadership role as Chief People & Organisation Officer, Asia Middle East and Africa (AMEA) at Mars Snacking.
In this mandate, she leads the People and Organisation agenda for Mars Snacking across AMEA, at a historic moment that brings together the iconic businesses of Kellanova and Mars, integrating complementary cultures, shared values and people-first growth strategies.
Prior to joining Mars Snacking, Sonali Roychowdhury served as Chief Human Resources Officer, AMEA at Kellanova, and earlier as CHRO, AMEA at Kellogg Company, where she led people strategy, organisation design, leadership development and culture transformation across Asia, India, Middle East, Africa and Turkey. She was a key architect of regional workforce transformation and post-merger people integration initiatives.
Earlier, Sonali spent over two decades at Procter & Gamble, building one of the most distinguished HR leadership careers across Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe. She held multiple senior CHRO and Vice President HR roles including CHRO (Vice President) – Indian Subcontinent & IMEA Distributor Operations, CHRO (Senior Director) – Indian Subcontinent, and several Vice President HR mandates spanning Asia Pacific supply chain, labour relations, M&A integration, and regional talent strategy. Her tenure also included regional HR leadership assignments in Vietnam, Singapore and India, leading complex M&A integrations, large-scale supply chain transformations and multi-country people strategy.
Sonali Roychowdhury has completed the CHRO (Top Seat) Program from Cornell University ILR School, a selective global CHRO succession cohort nominated by Kellanova. She is also an Advanced Columbia Coaching Certification Program (CCCP) graduate from Columbia Business School and Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur.
