Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2025 — Stacie Sire has been appointed as Vice President and Managing Director of the Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) and Chief Engineer, Boeing India, marking a significant leadership transition for Boeing’s operations in the region. In her new role, Sire will lead BIETC’s overall strategy and operations, focusing on expanding capabilities and strengthening support for Boeing’s global growth from India.
She succeeds Ahmed Elsherbini, who held the position from April 2021 to January 2025 and is now Senior Vice President and General Manager, Head of Boeing Global Engineering. With a distinguished career spanning more than 27 years at Boeing, Stacie Sire brings deep expertise in structural engineering, product development, and cross-functional leadership.
Sire has held multiple executive roles within Boeing, most recently serving as Director of Structures for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and concurrently as Director & Chief Engineer for the 787 Airframe Program. In this capacity, she led engineering strategy and delivery for key structural components of Boeing’s wide-body aircraft, driving innovation and operational excellence across global teams.
Her earlier responsibilities include leadership of the Airplane Configuration & Systems Engineering teams and Chief Engineering roles for the 767/777 Airframe programs. She also played critical roles in the early phases of the 787 Dreamliner program, including stress analysis, configuration integration, and full-scale structural testing. Known for her ability to guide complex engineering transformations, Sire’s leadership at BIETC is expected to elevate India’s role in Boeing’s global engineering network.
As Boeing strengthens its presence in India—a critical talent and innovation hub—Sire will play a key role in scaling engineering functions, fostering strategic collaborations, and nurturing technical talent that supports the company’s commercial and defense business goals worldwide.
