Dallas, Texas, United States, April 2025 – Steven T. Sample has taken on a new leadership role as Chief People Officer at Level Four Group, where he will spearhead people strategy and cultural initiatives across the organization’s expanding financial services ecosystem.
In his most recent role, Steven served as Sr. Director & Head of Human Resources (CHRO) at Lotte Global Logistics North America, where he led HR functions for the fast-growing logistics division of the $67B Lotte Group. Over nearly four years, he helped shape a global HR strategy that supported modernization, operational scale, and employee engagement across LGLNA’s U.S. operations.
Prior to that, Steven was Sr. HR Business Consultant at Baylor Scott & White Health, Texas’ largest not-for-profit healthcare system. In this capacity, he supported organizational development and people strategy across a network of over 49,000 employees and more than 800 patient care sites, driving cultural transformation and workforce alignment during a period of extensive growth.
Earlier, Steven led client-focused leadership development and HR advisory engagements as Principal Consultant with The Alternative Board (Worldwide). He facilitated peer leadership groups for business owners and senior executives, helping them navigate complex workforce challenges while aligning organizational culture with strategic goals.
His career also includes leadership roles as Sr. Director & CHRO at Think Finance and Executive Director of Human Resources at Ericsson, where he drove HR strategy for customer units and sales support divisions handling billions in annual revenue. At Ericsson, he played a vital role in talent calibration, compensation planning, and senior leadership development across North America.
Steven began his HR journey with organizations like Health Care Service Corporation, Cisco, and Spherion, gaining deep expertise in talent acquisition, compensation design, and strategic HR business partnering. Across roles, his hallmark has been building agile, people-first environments that fuel high performance and business innovation.
