Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Subhashish Chakrabarty has joined CaratLane – A TATA Product as Chief People Officer, where he will lead strategic HR initiatives, strengthen organizational capabilities, and foster a culture of innovation and growth.
With over 16 years of experience in human resources, Subhashish brings a wealth of expertise in organizational strategy, talent management, and people development. He has played pivotal roles in scaling HR functions, driving greenfield projects, and embedding business-aligned people practices that have enabled sustainable growth for leading organizations.
Before joining CaratLane, Subhashish served as Human Resources Director at ElasticRun, where he led strategic people initiatives and supported the company’s expansion journey. Prior to that, he worked with Amazon in multiple leadership roles, including Senior Manager – Student Programs and Senior Manager HR for India’s Last Mile Network, where he developed high-impact programs to build future talent pipelines.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at ITC Limited, taking on diverse leadership roles across businesses. His last role there was Head of HR – Education & Stationery Business, where he shaped HR strategy for one of ITC’s fast-growing divisions. He also contributed as HR Manager across FMCG Sales HR, Corporate HR, and talent management functions, playing a key role in organizational development.
