Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Scimplify has announced the elevation of Sudheer Kumar as Chief Executive Officer – Agrochemicals, following his successful tenure as Business Head of the company’s agrochemical division. In this new role, Sudheer will spearhead strategy, growth, and end-to-end operations for Scimplify’s expanding agrochemical portfolio, driving the company’s next phase of innovation, scale, and sustainable market leadership.
Over the past two years, Sudheer has played a pivotal role in building Scimplify’s agrochemical business, strengthening its supplier ecosystem, expanding commercial partnerships, and delivering operational excellence across domestic and global markets. His proven ability to align strategic vision with executional rigor has been instrumental in establishing Scimplify as a trusted name in specialty chemical manufacturing and development.
Sudheer brings over 15 years of rich experience across the agrochemical value chain, spanning marketing, product strategy, business development, and digital transformation. Prior to joining Scimplify, he served as Business Manager – Pesticides at ZETWERK, where he successfully built a contract manufacturing vertical, developing a network of over 40 technical manufacturers and 100+ clients. Earlier, as Business Development Manager at Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group in Nigeria, he led market development, strategic partnerships, and cross-functional initiatives across Africa.
His extensive stint at Sumitomo Chemical India Ltd. further shaped his industry expertise, where he worked in multiple leadership capacities including Senior Manager – Herbicides Marketing and National Special Projects Manager. At Sumitomo, he drove nationwide marketing campaigns, coordinated product strategies across India, Singapore, the USA, and Japan, and contributed to portfolio diversification and long-term growth planning. His earlier roles at United Phosphorus Ltd. (UPL) and other leading organizations provided him a solid foundation in farmer engagement, product innovation, and category expansion.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Sudheer holds advanced credentials in General Management, complementing his technical expertise with strong strategic and operational acumen. His deep understanding of global agrochemical markets, farmer-centric innovation, and commercial leadership positions him ideally to accelerate Scimplify’s agrochemical growth trajectory.
