Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Sudhiranjan Padhi has been appointed as Chief General Manager – Human Resources, Finance & Planning at Bank of India, marking a significant leadership transition within one of India’s leading public sector banks.
In his new role, Padhi will oversee enterprise-wide people strategy, financial planning, and organisational governance, strengthening alignment between workforce capability, financial discipline, and institutional performance across Bank of India’s national and international operations.
Padhi has built a distinguished leadership career at Bank of India, spanning over three decades across technology, digital banking, operations, and enterprise leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Chief General Manager & Chief Information Officer, where he led digital banking transformation, enterprise data analytics, digital lending platforms, and large-scale IT modernisation initiatives.
Earlier, he held roles including General Manager & CIO, General Manager – Digital Banking, and Deputy General Manager – Alternate Delivery Channels, spearheading customer experience transformation, technology-led growth, and process excellence programs.
He has also served as Zonal Manager and Deputy Zonal Manager, managing large geographic portfolios, strengthening business growth, and driving operational governance across multiple states.
Earlier in his career, Padhi held progressive leadership roles including Assistant General Manager, Chief Manager, Senior Manager, and Manager, building strong foundations across branch operations, regional leadership, and international banking assignments in India and Singapore.
