College Station, Texas, United States, December 2025 – Taylor Choate has been promoted to a new position as Director of People at G‑CON Manufacturing, Inc.. In this role, Taylor oversees Human Resources, Safety, and Training & Development, partnering closely with executive leadership on workforce planning, compliance, and organizational change, while remaining deeply connected to day-to-day operations.
In her current role as Director of People at G-CON, Taylor Choate leads people strategy with a focus on building strong teams, clear processes, and a safe, accountable workplace that supports sustainable business growth. Her promotion reflects continued confidence in her ability to align people systems with operational needs in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Prior to this elevation, she served as Human Resources Manager at G-CON for over seven years. During this tenure, Taylor built deep expertise across regulatory compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, payroll, and performance management. She acted as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on headcount planning, policy development, and strategic HR initiatives, while overseeing HR team operations and corporate communications.
Earlier in her career, Taylor completed a Walmart Supply Chain HR Internship, where she contributed to continuous improvement initiatives that enhanced onboarding, training effectiveness, and employee retention within a distribution center. She also held customer-facing and operations roles with Texas A&M University and Z Islander, building a strong foundation in service orientation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Taylor Choate holds a Master of Human Resources & Employment Relations from Penn State University and a degree in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University, equipping her with strong academic grounding to complement her hands-on HR leadership experience.
