Discover Financial Services appoints Thanisha P. has joined the company as the new Director of the HR Program Management Office (PMO). With an extensive background in program management and a solid track record in strategic planning, Thanisha’s expertise is set to play a pivotal role in advancing Discover’s human resources capabilities.
Thanisha P. brings over a decade of experience in program management, with a notable focus on HR and business process improvement. Before joining Discover, she served as the Director of Global Fraud Solutions PMO at TransUnion from February 2022 to March 2024. In this role, she was instrumental in managing a $40M budget, spearheading a flagship program to migrate to a new fraud platform, and enhancing cross-departmental collaborations within the company.
Prior to her tenure at TransUnion, Thanisha held the position of Agile Program Delivery Leader at Capital One from April 2019 to February 2022, where she led significant technology initiatives, including the transition of systems to cloud-based solutions and the adoption of Agile methodologies across multiple teams.
In addition, she worked as an Agile Transformation Consultant at Walgreens, where she facilitated the agile transformation across infrastructure teams, focusing on Cloud Automation products and ensuring rapid and efficient service delivery aligned with customer needs.
