Austin, Texas, United States, August 2025 — Scale Computing has announced the appointment of Theresa Wilson as its new Global Chief People Officer. In this strategic global role, Wilson will lead the company’s people function, driving the talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness strategy to support Scale Computing’s accelerated global growth and innovation goals.
As the Global Chief People Officer, Theresa will shape and scale people practices across multiple regions, ensuring alignment between the company’s high-performance culture and its business objectives. With a people-first philosophy, her mandate includes culture-building, talent development, employee engagement, performance management, DE&I, and organizational design.
Prior to joining Scale Computing, Theresa Wilson served as Chief People Officer at Acumera, Inc., where she oversaw all facets of People Operations for approximately one and a half years. She partnered with the executive leadership team to drive alignment between talent strategy and business outcomes, supporting growth, change management, and M&A integration.
Earlier, she was Senior Director of Human Resources at PeopleFund, where she championed initiatives in applicant tracking, executive coaching, DE&I, and professional development. Prior to that, she led HR and HSE at BryComm, LLC for over two years, where she implemented scalable talent acquisition strategies, performance systems, and organizational development tools to strengthen the company’s foundation and employee experience.
Theresa also held key HR leadership positions at ORION Water Solutions, Omni Water Solutions, and GreenWorld Restoration, where she built HR systems from the ground up, served as a change ambassador, and helped shape organizational culture, policies, and programs during periods of growth and transformation. Her earlier roles at Heraeus Quartz Tech, Harcourt Publishing, and Harden Healthcare further deepened her HR leadership expertise across industries.
She began her career as a Research Assistant at HEROS Health Education Research Operative Services, contributing to the landmark Tennessee STAR longitudinal class-size study.
Theresa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, grounding her people-first approach in behavioral insights and organizational psychology.
