Falls Church, Virginia, United States, May 2025 – Travis Garriss has joined Northrop Grumman as Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO), bringing with him over two decades of technology leadership across the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. In his new role, Travis will lead Northrop Grumman’s enterprise-wide information systems, digital transformation, and data innovation strategies to further strengthen the company’s technological edge and mission-critical capabilities.
Before taking on this new position, Travis served for six years as SVP & CIO at BAE Systems, Inc., where he was a member of the Senior Leadership Team. He led transformative efforts in cybersecurity, analytics, cloud brokerage, and network modernization within a highly regulated defense landscape—driving agility and innovation while maintaining compliance and operational resilience.
Previously, Travis spent over 12 years at Honeywell in several executive roles, including VP & CIO, VP of Enterprise Support, and VP of Infrastructure and Application Operations. He successfully drove large-scale IT modernization across user platforms, enterprise systems, and infrastructure support functions. Notably, he delivered improved uptime, accelerated technology deployments, and instituted global standards and governance models that enhanced user experience and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Travis held leadership roles at DHL, where he managed secure access and enterprise tools across hundreds of sites in North and South America. His early experience set a strong foundation in network security, global hosting, and connectivity that continues to influence his strategic approach to digital ecosystems.
