Baku, Baku Economic Zone, Azerbaijan, August 2024 – Tural Alizadeh has been appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer at MKT Cotton LLC, the leading cotton brand of Azerbaijan. In this role, Tural will spearhead the commercial strategies, driving growth and expanding the market presence of MKT Cotton both domestically and internationally.
Tural brings extensive experience to MKT Cotton LLC, having previously served as a Senior Business Consultant at Meta Consulting & Investment for over 13 years. During his tenure, he provided strategic advice and consulting services to various businesses, contributing significantly to their growth and operational efficiency in Azerbaijan.
Before that, Tural was the Head of Non-Food, Beverage & Snacks Department at Veyseloglu Group of Companies for approximately 5 months, where he managed key product lines and drove sales strategies across the group’s extensive retail network. His efforts contributed to the expansion of market share and enhanced the company’s competitive position in the market.
Earlier in his career, Tural held the position of CEO / Distributor & Trading Companies at Unitrade Group for about 6 months, where he oversaw the distribution of major brands such as Unilever and Nivea. His leadership was pivotal in managing the operations of multiple distribution companies, optimizing processes, and driving significant business growth.
Summarized Experience: Tural’s career includes substantial experience in leadership roles at organizations such as FAB Paints & Chemicals Industry LLC as Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer, and Gilan Holding as CEO of FMCG Trade & Distribution LLC and Head of Sales for the FMCG Group.
