Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2025 — Usman Mohammed has been appointed as President – Commercial Business Pan India at Kapil Group, bringing with him over two decades of robust experience in commercial real estate, leasing, and strategic business leadership. Based in Hyderabad, Usman will spearhead the group’s commercial business across India, shaping large-scale real estate strategies and driving business growth nationwide.
Prior to joining Kapil Group, Usman served as Vice President – Commercial Business at Puravankara Limited, where he managed a pipeline exceeding 10 million sq. ft. of commercial spaces across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune. His leadership played a key role in shaping high-value investments and delivering performance-driven results.
Before Puravankara, Usman held the position of Head – Leasing/Sales at Auro Realty for nearly seven years, where he was instrumental in strategizing and leasing over 3.2 million sq. ft. of Grade A+ office space. His ability to align market intelligence with client acquisition strategies earned him recognition as a transformational leader.
Usman’s earlier career includes impactful stints at L&T Realty, Oberoi Realty, and Hiranandani Group, where he led leasing and sales operations, managed large teams, and negotiated complex real estate transactions. He started his career at ICFAI University, overseeing marketing and corporate partnerships.
