Ohio, United States – November 2024 – Vanessa Polaine has joined Wyandot USA, LLC. as Vice President of Human Resources. In her new role, Vanessa will spearhead HR strategies to support Wyandot’s commitment to quality and innovation in the snack food manufacturing industry, enhancing workforce development and operational efficiency.
Before joining Wyandot, Vanessa served as a Senior Human Resources Manager at Chewy for nearly two years. At Chewy, she played an integral role in overseeing HR functions across the organization, supporting employee engagement, compliance, and operational goals in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Previously, Vanessa held key HR roles at Amazon for almost three years, including PXT Launch Guru and Human Resources Leader. Her responsibilities spanned multiple regions, where she managed HR initiatives for site expansions and provided strategic support to ensure HR alignment with Amazon’s operational growth.
She also led human resources for Quad/Graphics as Regional Director of Human Resources, where she was responsible for HR business partnering for over 7,000 employees, particularly in Quad’s largest printing platform. Her strategic direction strengthened HR support for various business functions, enhancing team alignment and employee relations.
Earlier in her career, Vanessa held the position of North America Human Resources Director at ABS Global, overseeing the people agenda across technical and shared services divisions in the beef and dairy sectors. Her contributions helped drive operational success through people-centric strategies and workforce planning initiatives.
