With nearly two decades of global leadership experience in equity research and financial markets, Sahu brings extensive expertise across Asia, the United States, and Europe. His appointment marks a significant leadership milestone for Bank of America as it continues to deepen its presence and strategic engagement in India’s fast-evolving financial ecosystem.
Prior to this appointment, Vikram Sahu served as Global Head of Equity Research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he led high-performing teams delivering market-leading insights and analysis across multiple asset classes. He previously served as APAC Head of Equity Research, overseeing research operations across key financial hubs such as Singapore and Hong Kong.
Earlier in his career, Vikram spent over 14 years with Goldman Sachs, where he rose to become Asia-South Head of Research after serving as Co-Lead, Tactical Research in London. His tenure across these top global institutions reflects a career built on analytical excellence, cross-border leadership, and a deep understanding of global capital markets.
As CEO of Bank of America in India, Vikram Sahu will lead the bank’s strategic initiatives, client partnerships, and operational priorities—driving innovation, governance, and growth across corporate, investment, and wealth management verticals.
