Delhi, India, July 2025 – Yogesh Sirohi has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, marking a significant leadership transition at one of India’s leading professional services firms. In his new role, Yogesh will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, strategic transformation, and sustainable growth across the firm’s nationwide practices.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton Bharat, Yogesh served at PwC India for over 11 years, where he held dual leadership roles as Partner and Chief Financial Officer. During this time, he played a pivotal role in financial strategy, firm-wide transformation programs, governance frameworks, and profitability improvement initiatives. His work also included enabling large-scale digital finance transformation and strategic cost optimization.
Earlier, Yogesh spent 19 years at KPMG India, where he steadily rose through the ranks from Executive to Executive Director – Finance. His experience spanned across multiple finance leadership roles, including Director of Finance, Financial Controller, and Senior Manager, and he was instrumental in building strong financial controls, planning frameworks, and M&A support systems for the firm.
Before his long tenure at KPMG, Yogesh began his career with Thomas Cook, where he worked for nearly five years as Branch Accountant and Account Clerk. This foundational experience gave him deep exposure to business operations, reconciliations, and client servicing in a high-paced environment.
