Kigali, Kigali City, Rwanda, June 2024 – GIZ Rwanda is pleased to announce that Jeff MUNYENGANGO has joined as the new Head of Human Resources (Rwanda/Burundi). With extensive HR experience and a strong background in human resources operations and management, Jeff brings valuable expertise to the organization. He will be instrumental in driving HR strategies and ensuring effective HR practices across GIZ Rwanda and Burundi.
Jeff MUNYENGANGO joins GIZ Rwanda from I&M Bank (Rwanda) Plc, where he worked for nearly 8 years. His last role was as HRBP & Human Resources Operations Manager, where he was responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business strategies, managing HR processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Jeff’s contributions in talent management, performance management, and HR operations significantly enhanced the HR functions at I&M Bank.
Prior to his role as HRBP & HR Operations Manager, Jeff served as Payroll & Benefits Officer at I&M Bank (Rwanda) Plc for over 2 years. In this position, he managed payroll processing, benefits administration, data management, and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations and effective benefits administration.
Jeff’s earlier experience includes working as a Branch Operations Officer at I&M Bank (Rwanda) Plc for almost 2 years, where he handled transaction processing, customer service, and compliance, ensuring efficient branch operations and excellent customer service.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been working in Rwanda for more than 40 years. The GIZ Office in Kigali covers GIZ’s portfolio in Rwanda and Burundi.
