Hyderabad, India, June 2024 – Eventbrite is delighted to announce that Raghavan Vallinayagam has joined as the HR Head for India and Global Engineering HRBP Director for the US, Spain, and India.
In this capacity, Raghavan will strategically engage with Eventbrite India’s Country Lead and VP of Engineering, Himanshu Verma, to create the Development team’s talent agenda to expand the company’s talent pool in India to work on exciting mission-critical projects. He will also oversee major India BX (Briteling Experience) partners including Meera George.

“Creating a culture where each person feels respected, empowered, and motivated to realize their full potential is what makes a company successful. It’s not just about hitting targets,” adds Raghavan.
As he embarks on this new chapter with Eventbrite, he’s committed to harnessing the collective talent and energy of Britelings (nickname for Eventbrite employees) in India and across the world to drive sustainable growth and cultivate a culture of excellence that sets Eventbrite apart in the marketplace.
In the words of Douglas R. Conant, “To win the marketplace, you must first win the workplace.” Raghavan states, “This philosophy has been the compass for my career journey, which is characterized by a passion for developing impactful people practices and a relentless pursuit of excellence.”
Beyond the confines of the corporate world, Raghavan finds fulfillment in the simple joys of family life. As a devoted parent to a vibrant two-year-old, he cherishes the moments of laughter, dance, and playful mischief that fill our days. Recently, he’s also discovered a newfound passion for cooking—an endeavor that not only fuels his creativity but also serves as a source of relaxation and inspiration.
