Melbourne, Australia, June 2024 – Jade McGowan has been appointed as the Director of Talent Management, HR and Communications at the Department of Education, Victorian Government. With over 15 years of diverse experience in human resources, recruitment, and talent management, Jade brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.
Jade McGowan has been with the Department of Education for approximately 5 years and 3 months. Prior to her current role, she served as the Recruitment Manager for about 1 year and 3 months, managing recruitment processes and strategies remotely. Jade was responsible for implementing recruitment best practices and ensuring the selection of top talent for various roles within the department.
Before that, Jade worked as an Extracurricular Activities Coach for 4 years and 2 months in Melbourne, where she was involved in coaching and developing programs for students. She also held the position of Recruitment Manager for 1 year, where she oversaw recruitment activities and contributed to the improvement of hiring processes.
Jade’s earlier career includes roles such as Interview Assessor at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Recruitment Consultant at Search in Glasgow, and Master Trainer and Founder & Operator of BeDancefit, a dance and fitness facility in Melbourne. She has also served as a Dance Educator at Norfolk Street Community Kinder and a Youth Workshop Facilitator at Hobsons Bay City Council. Jade’s extensive experience in various HR and recruitment roles has equipped her with the skills needed to excel in her new position.
