Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, July 2024 – Kim Carlson has been appointed as the new Vice President of People & Culture at Finning. With over 23 years of experience at Finning, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her new role, where she will be responsible for enhancing the company’s people strategies and culture.
Kim Carlson has an extensive career at Finning, demonstrating her versatility and leadership across various roles. Prior to her current position, she served as Vice President Customer Experience, leading initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction for over a year and a half. Before that, Kim was the General Manager, Enterprise Customer Experience, where she managed customer relations and experiences.
Her earlier roles at Finning include General Manager, Rental & Retail, General Manager, Rental and Used Operations, and GM, Finning Rental Services. Kim has also held key financial positions, such as Director of Finance – Rental & Used and Director, Warranty Operations. Starting her journey at Finning as an Equipment Accountant Analyst, Manager, Kim has consistently demonstrated her commitment and expertise, contributing significantly to the company’s growth.
