In his new role, Ty will lead the company’s people strategy, building on the strong foundation and rich legacy of the organization. Before joining James Avery Artisan Jewelry, Ty served as Vice President of Human Resources at Humana for nearly six years. At Humana, he was instrumental in shaping the organizational culture and workforce management strategies for the $100B+ healthcare giant, contributing to the growth and development of over 65,000 employees.
Prior to his time at Humana, Ty held the position of Vice President, Talent Strategy & Workforce Analytics at USAA. Over his six-year tenure, he played a key role in workforce analytics and talent strategy for the $36B+ revenue financial services company, which serves military members, veterans, and their families.
Earlier in his career, Ty was an HR Executive at Bank of America. During his nearly eight-year tenure, he managed human resources for the multinational investment bank and financial services company, focusing on talent management and executive development for its 215,000+ employees.
In addition to his roles at Humana, USAA, and Bank of America, Ty has held HR leadership positions at Dell Technologies and General Electric, where he gained extensive experience in human resource management, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
