Mumbai, Maharashtra, India – October 2024 – Charuta Ambardekar Saoji has transitioned from her role at L’Oréal to become the Head of Marketing and Vice President at Viacom18 Media Private Limited‘s Colors channel. In her new position, Charuta will be responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives and enhancing brand presence for one of India’s leading entertainment networks.
Before joining Viacom18, Charuta Ambardekar Saoji served at L’Oréal for nearly four years. Most recently, she was the AGM Marketing for Garnier, leading skincare category growth through awareness, education, and engagement. Earlier, she was the AGM Marketing for L’Oréal Paris, where she led the hair care and color categories for the brand in India.
Prior to her tenure at L’Oréal, Charuta worked at Unilever, holding multiple roles including Marketing Manager and Regional Senior Brand Manager for South Asia. Her efforts were pivotal in brand development and strategic food innovation across markets such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
Earlier in her career, Charuta was associated with HJ Heinz, managing brands like Heinz Ketchup and Complan, followed by a stint at Reckitt Benckiser as Area Sales Manager in Odisha. She began her professional journey with roles at The Coca-Cola Company and Avaya GlobalConnect, gaining valuable experience in strategic projects and engineering roles.
