Norway – October 2024 – Inger Solstad has taken on the role of Director People & Culture at Garda Sikring, a leading security provider in Norway with a legacy spanning over 100 years. In this position, Inger will oversee the development of people strategies, drive organizational culture, and implement HR initiatives to support Garda Sikring’s mission of delivering innovative, sustainable, and secure solutions.
Before joining Garda Sikring, Inger Solstad served as the Director of Human Resources at Franzefoss AS for nearly 12 years. During her tenure, she played a key role in driving HR strategy, implementing employee engagement initiatives, and fostering a strong organizational culture across the company’s operations.
Prior to Franzefoss, Inger worked at the Norwegian Refugee Council for over 8 years, holding roles such as Special Adviser HR and Director of Human Resources. In these positions, she focused on talent management, leadership development, recruitment, and HR policy design, contributing significantly to organizational growth and operational effectiveness.
Inger also has experience as an HR Officer at Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani AS, where she managed HR operations and organizational development initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked as an HR Adviser at Statnett SF and as a Consultant for Search & Selection at HMG Hansa Management Group, further refining her expertise in recruitment and talent management.
Her career began at Norwegian People’s Aid, where she held roles as HR Consultant and Director of Human Resources and Administration, supporting HR initiatives across multiple regions, including a stint in Angola.
