Dubai, United Arab Emirates – November 2024 – Americana Foods has announced the appointment of Melody Sheybani as Group Human Resources Director – Grocery & Impulse, where she will oversee HR strategies and initiatives to drive employee engagement and talent development across the organization’s grocery and impulse categories.
Prior to joining Americana Foods, Melody served as Group Head of HR – People Transformation at FTI GROUP, where she spearheaded a global HR transformation project for ERP implementation. She led end-to-end process improvements for People & Culture, implementing consistent global policies that enhanced operational efficiency and alignment across the organization.
Previously, Melody held the role of Group Human Resources Director – Culinary, Oil & Beauty at IFFCO Group, where she managed HR operations for 49 countries. She drove strategic initiatives, supported market expansion, and established key talent programs, playing a significant role in aligning HR practices with organizational goals across diverse markets.
In her earlier experience, Melody was Director of People & Organizational Development at Kent. She was instrumental in building a global talent and learning strategy, implementing performance management systems, and launching diversity and inclusion initiatives to support sustainable growth and local talent development across the organization.
