Sydney, New South Wales, Australia – November 2024 – Kathryn Hearn has been named Chief People and Culture Officer at AccessEAP, where she will lead HR strategies and initiatives aimed at fostering a thriving, supportive culture for the organization’s employees across Australia. With a wealth of experience in strategic HR leadership and employee engagement, Hearn is set to collaborate closely with AccessEAP’s leadership to advance its mission of improving workplace well-being and mental health.

Before joining AccessEAP, Hearn held the position of Regional Human Resources Manager at Schréder, where she was instrumental in managing regional HR functions on-site in Australia. Over her seven-month tenure, she focused on enhancing operational efficiency and HR support to align with regional business objectives.

Prior to her role at Schréder, Hearn worked as Head of Human Resources at Complete Credit Solutions in Sydney, where she implemented HR strategies that drove business success and employee development. Her initiatives included designing comprehensive incentive plans, revising onboarding processes, and developing a career pathways program, which improved talent retention and growth.

Hearn also served as Head of Human Resources ANZ at Biogen for over a year, leading the HR strategy for Australia and New Zealand. During this time, she collaborated with senior leaders to establish an administrative support structure and crafted an employee rewards program, enhancing engagement and productivity within the team.

Further back, Hearn spent nearly two years as Human Resources Manager at Össur, where she led employee engagement initiatives, policy development, and talent management processes, building an inclusive and supportive workplace environment. Her contributions significantly elevated employee engagement scores and positioned HR as a valued partner within the organization.
