Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2024 – Nitin Sood has joined ACKO as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Bringing over two decades of experience in corporate finance, strategic leadership, and investor relations, Nitin will oversee ACKO’s financial strategy, guiding the company through its next phase of growth in the digital insurance sector. His wealth of experience, particularly from his tenure at PVR INOX, positions him to play a pivotal role in strengthening ACKO’s leadership in innovation and customer-centric solutions.

Nitin’s most recent role was as Chief Financial Officer at PVR INOX, where he spent 16 years and 9 months contributing to corporate finance initiatives, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He also led a team of over 60 finance professionals across the country, making significant contributions to the company’s growth and success.

Prior to that, Nitin served as VP Finance at PVR INOX from January 2005 to November 2007, where he played a key role in managing corporate finance and compliance for the company. Earlier, he held the position of GM Finance at PVR from December 2001 to January 2005, overseeing the financial operations and strategy.

Nitin began his career as a Senior Manager at Dimensions Consulting (P) Ltd for 3 years and 6 months, where he worked on various corporate finance consulting assignments, advising on business initiatives, restructuring plans, and raising private equity capital. He also gained valuable early experience as an Industrial Trainee at Escorts Finance Limited.
