Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – November 2024 – Abdulrahman Al Subaie has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at SAMI Navantia. In his new role, he will lead the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and programs to support SAMI Navantia’s mission and business objectives. His focus will be on aligning HR operations with the organization’s vision, values, and commitment to employee growth and excellence.
Abdulrahman brings extensive HR expertise from his time at SAMI, where he recently served as Director of Talent Acquisition. In this capacity, he oversaw talent sourcing and acquisition strategies, ensuring that the organization attracted and retained top talent. His role expanded in the earlier months as Talent Sourcing Manager, further refining his skills in strategic recruitment for SAMI’s diverse operations.
Before SAMI, Abdulrahman spent over two years at Maaden, where he was the Section Head of Talent Acquisition. During his tenure, he led talent acquisition efforts and served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, where he played a pivotal role in recruiting and managing talent pipelines critical to Maaden’s projects.
His HR foundation was developed at SABIC, where he contributed for over eight years. In roles such as Global Corporate Talent Acquisition and Global Executive Talent Acquisition, Abdulrahman drove executive recruitment strategies on a global scale. Earlier, as a Recruitment/Onboarding Representative, he managed comprehensive onboarding and recruitment processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new employees into SABIC’s culture and values.
