Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, July 2026 — CAMS Limited has promoted Manoranjan Pradhan to the position of Associate Vice President, recognizing his leadership in operations, business excellence, and strategic transformation.
In his new role, Manoranjan will contribute to strengthening CAMS’ enterprise operations, driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and scalable growth initiatives as the company continues to expand its role as India’s leading financial infrastructure platform.
Before this elevation, Manoranjan completed the Operations Leader Trainee program at CAMS Limited, where he prepared for broader enterprise leadership responsibilities across the organization.
Prior to joining CAMS, he spent six years with Hindalco Industries Limited in a series of operations and business excellence leadership roles.
Most recently, he served as Manager – Strategic Operations and Business Excellence, where he partnered with senior leadership to formulate business strategy for the Building & Architecture business, supporting growth initiatives, strategic planning, and business expansion.
Earlier, as Assistant Manager, he led several high-impact operational transformation initiatives, including developing a forecasting model that reduced inventory costs by 12%, restoring a foreign outsourced disc filter that generated savings of approximately ₹23 crore, implementing more than 30 Kaizen initiatives, and driving digitalization projects that reduced equipment breakdowns by 30%. He also played a key role in coordinating a ₹1,500 crore brownfield expansion project, managing equipment procurement, vendor selection, quality planning, and project delivery across multiple work packages.
He began his professional journey at Hindalco as a Graduate Engineer Trainee, building expertise in manufacturing operations, project execution, and process optimization. Earlier, he completed an industrial training assignment at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where he worked on quality improvement initiatives in the Sukhoi engine division.
Manoranjan further strengthened his leadership capabilities by earning an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Mumbai.
