US/Italy/UK, December 2024 – Gabriele Franceschini has assumed the role of Vice President of Corporate Human Resources at Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company. In this capacity, Gabriele will lead corporate HR strategies and initiatives across the organization’s diverse operations, ensuring alignment with Baker Hughes’ mission to innovate and advance energy technologies worldwide. His responsibilities include fostering cultural transformation, driving executive development, and strengthening workforce engagement.
Gabriele’s career at Baker Hughes spans over seven years, during which he served in several senior HR leadership roles. Most recently, he was Vice President of Human Resources for Gas Technology E&P/GSC, where he oversaw HR operations for over 4,000 employees, implemented succession plans, and designed innovative employee engagement programs. Prior to this, he was Human Resources Director for Nuovo Pignone Italy, leading HR for eight manufacturing sites and driving strategic workforce planning and organizational change.
Before joining Baker Hughes, Gabriele held HR management roles at GE Power, where he partnered with engineering leaders to develop HR strategies, improve organizational policies, and enhance talent development. He began his HR career at Roberto Cavalli as an HR Generalist, gaining valuable experience in recruitment and policy implementation.
