Under his leadership, CCBA has expanded its “World Without Waste” partnerships in Uganda, collaborating with local recycling companies to increase the collection and recycling of plastic waste. These initiatives are part of the global Coca-Cola Company’s commitment to collecting and recycling the equivalent of every bottle it sells by 2030, aiming to make packaging more recyclable and supporting the circular economy.
Kaheru’s appointment comes at a crucial time when Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is intensifying its efforts to address environmental challenges, particularly plastic pollution.
