Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom, February 2025 – Katherine Lamb has been appointed as Senior Director, Human Resources: Global Inclusion and Diversity at AstraZeneca. In this role, she will drive AstraZeneca’s global inclusion and diversity agenda, focusing on fostering an inclusive workplace culture, building diverse leadership pipelines, and empowering inclusive leadership across the organization.
With over 20 years of HR leadership experience, Katherine brings extensive expertise in HR transformation, talent acquisition, leadership development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) strategies. She will play a key role in shaping AstraZeneca’s global talent and workplace inclusion efforts.
Katherine has been with AstraZeneca for nearly eight years, most recently serving as Senior Director, Human Resources: Business Partnering & HR Transformation. In this role, she focused on developing and implementing a future-focused HR operating model, strengthening global HR capabilities, and driving inclusive leadership initiatives to build a diverse leadership talent pipeline.
Before that, she held multiple leadership roles at AstraZeneca, including Global Talent Acquisition Director: Talent Scouting & Early Talent and Global Talent Acquisition Director: Employer Brand, Onboarding & Communications. She led global talent strategies, employer branding, and executive talent pipelines, ensuring AstraZeneca attracted and retained top-tier talent. Additionally, she played a critical role in the global restructuring of AstraZeneca’s R&D division as Global Director – R&D Restructure PMO.
Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Katherine served as Head of Talent Acquisition – Europe at Kellogg Company, where she led recruitment strategies across multiple regions, enhanced hiring processes, and developed employer branding initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership positions at TMP Worldwide UK, The Co-operative Bank, and BOC, where she gained deep expertise in HR strategy, talent acquisition, and workforce transformation.
