Pune, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 – Kaushik Chatterjee has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Head of Africa at Zensar Technologies, where he will lead strategic growth, client engagement, and digital transformation efforts across the African market. With extensive experience in IT services, business applications, infrastructure, and digital innovation, his leadership will be pivotal in strengthening Zensar’s presence and driving operational excellence in the region.
Chatterjee has been a key figure at Zensar Technologies for four years, serving as Global Delivery Head – BFS, Insurance, Life Sciences & Healthcare, where he was responsible for managing large-scale digital transformation projects and delivering IT solutions for key industry verticals. Prior to this, he was the Global Delivery Head – BFS & Insurance, overseeing P&L ownership and execution of strategic initiatives for financial services and insurance clients.
Before joining Zensar, Chatterjee spent 18 years at Cognizant, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, including BFS & Insurance Delivery Head – APAC and SBU Delivery Head – BFS Mortgages & Lending. His tenure at Cognizant was marked by leading business solutions, managing large-scale financial services projects, and driving digital innovation across banking, financial services, and insurance sectors.
Earlier in his career, Chatterjee worked at Citi India as a Project Manager, where he gained expertise in banking operations, technology solutions, and IT service management. His background also includes a role at IndyMac Bank, further enriching his experience in financial services and digital transformation.
Chatterjee holds a PGDM in IT and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. His strategic vision and extensive industry expertise position him well to lead Zensar’s expansion in Africa, driving innovation, market influence, and client-centric solutions.
