Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 2025 – Laura Chen-Hoyle has been appointed as Head of People Operations, APAC at Aon. In this role, she will lead HR operations across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on talent acquisition, workforce strategy, and HR transformation to support Aon’s growth and people initiatives.
Chen-Hoyle has been with Aon for over eight years, previously serving as Talent Acquisition Manager, Asia, where she led recruitment efforts across Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. She played a pivotal role in enhancing Aon’s talent strategy across diverse markets, strengthening the company’s regional hiring capabilities.
Before that, she was Implementation Project Manager, EMEA, where she successfully managed the rollout of Aon’s global Applicant Tracking System (ATS) across 32 countries in EMEA, four in North America, and four in APAC. Additionally, she worked as Business Travel Coordinator in a secondment role, managing a global RFP to ensure compliance with EU labor regulations, immigration, and tax requirements.
Prior to Aon, Chen-Hoyle gained extensive experience in recruitment across financial and professional services. She worked as a Recruitment Advisor at Fieldfisher, where she managed talent acquisition for business services functions, and as a Recruitment Consultant at Randstad UK, specializing in finance and legal sector recruitment for Big Four firms and multinational organizations.
