Chicago, Illinois, United States, July 2026 — Doubtless has appointed Raj Patel as Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources for North America, reinforcing its executive leadership as the company continues to expand its global pet insurance and pet health solutions business. A highly accomplished human resources executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience, Raj brings deep expertise in enterprise HR strategy, organizational transformation, talent management, workforce experience, leadership development, and business partnership. In his new role, he will serve as the chief people officer for the United States and Canada, leading HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent, culture, total rewards, employee relations, and HR operations for approximately 2,300 employees while partnering with regional and global leadership to support the company’s continued growth.
Before joining Doubtless, Raj served as Strategic Human Resources Advisor to Inszone Insurance Services, where he partnered with executive leadership to build scalable human capital strategies supporting rapid growth through acquisitions. His work focused on strengthening HR operating models, improving organizational effectiveness, standardizing people processes, and leveraging technology and data-driven decision-making to position HR as a driver of operational excellence and long-term enterprise value.
Earlier, Raj spent more than eight years with Northwestern Mutual, where he held several senior executive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President | Senior HR Business Partner and Head of Workforce Experience, supporting high-growth business divisions while leading enterprise workforce experience initiatives. He oversaw HR technology modernization, employee experience, workplace operations, corporate security, facilities, aviation services, and large-scale enterprise programs, managing significant teams and enterprise-wide HR investments. Prior to this, he served as Vice President | Talent & Organization Effectiveness, where he led enterprise talent strategy, leadership development, recruitment, performance management, engagement, and diversity initiatives.
Raj also spent more than seven years with Zurich Insurance Group, where he served as Senior Vice President | Global Head of Talent & Leadership Development, leading enterprise talent strategy, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational capability across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Earlier at Zurich, he served as Vice President | Head of Talent Management Practice and Assistant Vice President | HR Operations and Organizational Development (North America). His earlier career includes leadership roles with Allstate, Arthur Andersen, Bank One Corporation (now part of JPMorgan Chase & Co.), NTT DATA (formerly Bricker & Associates), and Chase, where he built extensive expertise in organizational development, strategic consulting, change management, commercial banking, talent management, and business transformation.
With more than three decades of executive leadership experience, Raj has established himself as a respected HR leader recognized for aligning people strategy with business growth, leading enterprise transformation, developing high-performing organizations, and creating scalable talent capabilities.
