India | July 2026 — Siemens has appointed Tarun Mehta as Head – Digital & Sustainability (Manufacturing Vertical). In his new role, he will lead digital transformation and sustainability initiatives for the manufacturing sector, helping customers accelerate industrial digitalisation, improve operational efficiency, and achieve their sustainability objectives through advanced technologies and innovative solutions.
Tarun has been associated with Siemens for the past few years, most recently serving as Senior Management Consultant in the United Kingdom, where he advised organisations on digital transformation, business development, industrial sustainability, and strategic consulting initiatives. Prior to joining Siemens, he spent nearly six years with PwC as a Senior Consultant, delivering advisory services across energy efficiency, sustainability, and industrial transformation. Earlier, he worked with the National Productivity Council, contributing to energy audits, industrial efficiency programmes, and government-led energy management initiatives, including projects under the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE). He began his career with Micromeg Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., gaining hands-on experience in engineering, industrial utilities, and EPC projects.
With over 14 years of experience across digital transformation, sustainability, industrial consulting, energy management, manufacturing excellence, and business strategy, Tarun brings strong expertise to support Siemens’ mission of enabling smarter, more sustainable manufacturing.
