Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 — Saint-Gobain has appointed Sreedhar N. as Chief Executive Officer – Asia-Pacific Region, effective April 1, 2025, overseeing operations in Australia, New Zealand, and India. Currently serving as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Sreedhar will continue as a member of the Executive Committee, bringing with him over 30 years of deep cross-functional leadership within the organization.
As the first non-French Group CFO in the company’s 350+ year history, Sreedhar has played a pivotal role in financial transformation, portfolio optimization, and reinforcing a strong cash culture globally. His transition into the CEO role marks a significant step in Saint-Gobain’s next phase of regional innovation, expansion, and sustainable growth.
The announcement comes as B. Santhanam, the current CEO for Asia-Pacific and India, prepares to retire on May 5, 2025, after an illustrious 45-year career. Santhanam has been instrumental in expanding Saint-Gobain India’s market footprint and accelerating its growth. The company now looks forward to building on this legacy under Sreedhar’s visionary leadership.
Sreedhar’s Saint-Gobain journey spans over two decades, with leadership roles across India, France, and Western Europe. He has served as CFO of the High Performance Materials (HPM) sector, Vice President of Abrasives Business in India, and held responsibilities for Strategy, IT, and Purchasing functions. His diverse background positions him uniquely to lead Saint-Gobain’s Asia-Pacific operations through a dynamic and forward-thinking lens.
