Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, United States, April 2025 – Michael Cieri has stepped into the role of Vice President, Learning Business Partners, SAP Americas & EMEA at SAP, marking a significant milestone in his 18-year journey with the organization. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for leading regional learning partnerships, aligning SAP’s global learning strategy with the evolving needs of its workforce and clients across both regions.
Over the past five and a half years, Michael served as Vice President, North America Customer Success Field Enablement at SAP, where he led a team focused on boosting solution and soft skills among account executives. His enablement strategies resulted in a notable improvement in quota attainment and he spearheaded a sales leadership program to develop future leaders. He also played a key role in global initiatives, such as SAP’s participation in an AI consortium and managing content for the North America Field Kickoff Meeting.
Prior to this, he was Senior Director, SAP Sales Learning, where he led digital learning transformation initiatives, including micro-learning and podcasts, and organized high-impact virtual learning events for tens of thousands of employees globally. He was instrumental in creating innovative digital platforms and content to support SAP’s sales strategy.
Earlier, as Director at SAP GCO University, Michael was responsible for driving learning strategies for customer-facing employees. He facilitated global content integration and collaborated with regional teams to develop training on cutting-edge SAP solutions such as S/4HANA and Business Networks. His leadership in virtual learning positioned SAP as a forward-thinking player in employee enablement.
His earlier leadership roles at SAP included Head of Curriculum and Events at SAP Services University, Sales Enablement Team Manager, and Sales Enablement Specialist, where he earned accolades for his creative initiatives such as SAP Services Radio and educational podcast series, and built a reputation for driving engagement and learning innovation.
