In this pivotal role, Anita will be responsible for deepening client partnerships, driving integrated solutions, and delivering transformative growth aligned with evolving brand and business needs across the region.
Prior to this appointment, Anita served as CEO of Carat India, where she propelled the agency to new heights with a focus on data-led, audience-first strategies. Under her leadership, Carat India was widely recognized in the industry, and she was honoured as South Asia Agency Head of the Year by Campaign Asia in 2022. Her tenure was marked by a strong growth trajectory and a reputation for building collaborative, insight-driven client relationships.
Before joining Carat, Anita held several senior roles at Mindshare India, culminating in her position as Senior Vice President – New Business. There, she drove national growth initiatives, led high-stakes pitches, and managed key clients such as Walt Disney, bringing a sharp focus on marketing ROI and client success. Her earlier role as Leader, Client Leadership – Mindshare West, saw her managing strategic accounts across diverse categories including FMCG, media, automotive, and financial services.
Anita began her career with stints at Initiative Media (now LMG) and Dainik Bhaskar Group, where she gained hands-on experience across media planning, market expansion, and new business development. Known for her disciplined execution, client-first philosophy, and deep domain expertise, Anita now steps into this pan-regional leadership role to unify dentsu’s client experience across its network.
