She will focus on embedding automation, improving operational efficiency, and designing intelligent systems that enable People teams to operate with greater speed, clarity, and strategic impact.
Kate joins Horizon3.ai following a transformative tenure at Lattice, where she most recently served as Manager, People Operations. During her time there, she applied a product mindset to People Ops, launching automation pilots using custom GPTs that reduced documentation work by 30% and improved workflow reliability. She also built AI capability within the team, trained colleagues on prompt design and automation opportunities, and led strategic operational initiatives including office closures and SLA-driven intake workflows.
Earlier at Lattice, as People Operations Generalist and Senior People Operations Specialist, she spearheaded AI chatbot implementation that reduced HR ticket volume by 50% with 85% Tier 1 resolution, redesigned onboarding and offboarding workflows to cut manual processes by 50%, and overhauled immigration and compliance processes. Her career foundation includes leadership roles at Loom, Thumbtack, and Workfront, where she led major HRIS implementations including Workday rollouts and global expansion playbooks.
